New York photographer Spencer Tunick, well known for staging photos with hundreds, most often thousands of naked people in public settings, broke his previous record by photographing his largest photo shoot ever this last Sunday in Mexico City. Tunick shot photos of over 18,000 naked Mexicans in The Zócalo, Mexico City’s famous city square, which once was the center of the Aztec Empire.
By breaking his record, Tunick shot over 18,000 naked people all in one place today at his massive nude photo shoot at The Zócalo in Mexico City. Guacamole* has some great photos on Flickr. And here’s the coverage from SF Gate (AP), the LA Times and Reuters.
Update: Spencer’s lens will shutter next on June 23rd in Amsterdam.
