2007 North American Victim Assistance Conference

The 33rd Annual conference, “Programs & Partnerships: A Winning Combination” will bring together professionals and colleagues from across North America and beyond who will focus on invigorating victim assistance programs and enhancing relationships with traditional and non-traditional partners. The conference will feature multi-level educational workshop opportunities; guest plenary speakers; specialized sessions; an awards luncheon, and a special Victim Memorial Anniversary Banquet.
Conference attendees will have multiple track workshop opportunities to draw from:
• Track One: Victim Advocacy Skill Building
Plenary, forum, and 21 workshops session options will provide skills training in counseling, advocacy, law enforcement, restorative justice, public policy, and care for staff and volunteers.
• Track Two: Program Design & Management
Plenary, forum, and 14 workshops sessions in management, resource development, and strategic planning skills.
Track Three: Networking & Partnership Development
Plenary, forum, and 20 workshop sessions to facilitate expanding the reach of victim service programs through strategic partnerships on the local, state, national, and international levels.
A very Special Event: The NOVA Board of Directors and Fight Crime: Invest In Kids, Elaine and Gordon Rondeau will host a special memorial banquet for victims and survivors of crime. This 10th annual event will be held on Tuesday evening.
